Gemma Rabanser M.Ost
(Clinic Director)

Steyning Osteopathic Clinic - Gemma Harding
Background
Gemma has been working at Steyning Osteopathic Clinic since 2011 and has been the Director since April 2015. Prior to becoming an Osteopath Gemma worked for six years as a personal trainer in a prestigious gym on Oxford Circus. During this time she gained exceptional experience in building strength and stability in functional movement patterns. These skills lend themselves well to in depth gait assessment, post injury rehabilitation, sports injuries and aiding patients to find strength.

Gemma graduated with a Masters in Osteopathy in 2011 and since  has undertaken post graduate study with the Classical Institute of Osteopathy which has spanned over four years. She obtained a full diploma in Classical Osteopathy in June 2018.

Gemma took on the part time role of Practice Educator at the University College of Osteopathy in September 2023. Here she enjoys sharing the knowledge she has gained through her years in practice with newly budding Osteopathic minds.

Expertise
Gemma uses Classical Osteopathic techniques such as manipulations, articulations, massage and stretching, as well as Cranial Osteopathy to treat a range of musculoskeletal and health complaints with the aim of aiding recovery and preventing further occurrences. She is able to give advice on diet and exercise in relation to your presenting problems and to achieve specific lifestyle goals.

Mia Ivey
M.Chiro

Picture
Background
Mia qualified in 2024 with a Master’s in Chiropractic from the McTimoney Chiropractic College, accredited by Ulster University.

A passionate equestrian from a young age, Mia’s interest in chiropractic began alongside her riding journey. After experiencing treatment for riding-related injuries as early as age 10, she developed a deep appreciation for the Chiropractic technique. Since then, her aspiration to become a chiropractor has remained unwavering. She has a particular interest in treating equestrian athletes and envisions one day caring for both horse and rider in harmony, as she pursues a Master’s in Animal Chiropractic.

Expertise
During her time at McTimoney, Mia often challenged conventional beliefs within chiropractic care, exploring how her understanding might evolve as she transitioned into a qualified practitioner. Since graduating, she has refined her approach, focusing on holistic care through the McTimoney technique — stimulating the nervous system to support realignment throughout the body.

Mia complements her chiropractic sessions with soft tissue work, believing that the nervous system, muscular structure, and joints function as an interconnected unit. She works closely with each client to restore movement, build strength, and help them achieve personal goals. Her holistic philosophy centres on enhancing overall function and promoting lasting well-being.

Passionate about continuous growth, Mia remains committed to expanding her skill set through ongoing research and education — always striving to provide the best care and achieve meaningful results for her patients.

Jen Nash

Picture
Background

Jen qualified as an osteopath in 2020, completing her Master’s degree at University College of Osteopathy. After graduating, she worked, here, at Steyning Osteopathic Clinic until 2022 before moving to London to pursue her Osteopathic fascinations and develop into the highly experienced Osteopath she is today. Jen is delighted to have now returned back to the clinic where her career started.

While in London, Jen worked at Pure Sports Medicine, where she collaborated closely with physiotherapists, consultants, sports doctors and other healthcare professionals. This experience informed her movement-focused and collaborative approach to musculoskeletal care.

Since graduating, Jen has also undertaken further training in Lifestyle Medicine, developing a deeper understanding of how movement, stress, sleep and daily habits influence pain, recovery and long-term health. This has reinforced her belief in a multidisciplinary approach to care.

Alongside her clinical work, Jen is a brand designer and strategist for healthcare businesses and has lectured at universities on professional identity within healthcare. This reflects her broader interest in how care is communicated, accessed and experienced by patients.

Expertise
Jen combines osteopathic manual therapy, sports massage techniques and exercise-based rehabilitation to support recovery and long-term function. She provides clear, tailored exercise guidance to help patients regain strength, return to the activities they enjoy and reduce the risk of pain returning.

As a musculoskeletal specialist, Jen has a particular interest in treating upper and lower back pain, nerve pain, headaches, jaw pain and sports injuries. She works with physically active individuals and also those managing longer-term or recurring health concerns.
Her approach focuses on identifying the underlying contributors to pain and dysfunction, working closely with patients to create personalised, achievable plans that support lasting change. Jen aims to empower patients through practical lifestyle advice and exercise prescription.
